Glogsters

I have had my students make glogsters for different learning concepts but today they made Get Well Glogsters for a student who has an ankle injury and won't be back to school. They put their glogsters on our class blog so she was able to read them immediately. Instant get well cards for students who are out! Fun!

Week 9 Thing 23 Last Reflection

This was the absolute BEST technology instruction. I have learned more useful technology skills with this wonderful format. Many times workshop instruction is not viable because the presenter is in a hurry to get the information across to many people and many of us feel rushed and overwhelmed. I have found that when I have been instructed by a techno savy person that they just assume you know what they are talking about and everytime they go ahead and just do what their teaching me to do and then I end up being clueless!
This on the other hand was GREAT instruction, others should learn from you!! I was able to work at my own pace and on my own time with out the pressure of instructors who feel that I wasn't getting it "fast enough". Not only did I actually learn EVERYTHING but I taught it to all of my students and another teacher and her class!! This not only helped me but gave me the confidence to help 40 kids and a teacher!
My students have become so much richer from this experience because they have actively learned to use glogster, our class blog, toondoodle, tagexdo, Edmodo, Go animate!, Animoto, Voki~avatars, wall wisher and more! These technology tools enhance my classroom lessons now, and they have certainly made my students excited about learning. I can't thank you enough for this absolutely amazing instruction! I hope you have more to come!!
